This vegan spinach artichoke dip is one of the easiest recipes to throw together if you’re in need of a last minute dish to bring to a gathering. It’s one of those dishes people never even suspect is vegan. I haven’t had a regular non vegan spinach dip in years but I will say, I think the vegan version is even better! You can also omit the spinach or artichoke if you’re not a fan of one of them.
When I first put this dish together, it really didn’t sound all that appetizing to me, my husband really wanted a spinach dip and since I usually try to make vegan versions of everything, I attempted this recipe. Once I got the okay from him that he loved it, I tried it myself and was shocked at how delicious it was. It’s now one of our favorite appetizer dishes to make and it’s incredibly easy to make.
This recipe requires a vegan cream cheese and vegan mayo. Most grocery stores now carry these. Vegenaise is a popular usually easy to find brand that I like. Vegan cream cheese though is a hit or miss, my favorite comes from Trader Joe’s but I know not everyone has a Trader Joe’s available. Miyoko’s brand I usually have pretty good luck with and find a lot of grocery stores carry them.
