Baby Girl Nursery

baby girl pink nursery shelves and snoo

Coming up with a theme for a baby girl nursery was not as easy as I thought. I searched many ideas on Pinterest and Etsy and just could not decide. I didn’t really end up with a particular theme. I guess you could say her room has a lil mid-century modern feel to it.

Having such small rooms in our home, I wanted to keep the nursery as clutter free as possible. We ended up turning the dogs room (yes our dogs have their own room) into the new nursery. I really didn’t consider just how difficult painting over a dark navy blue room would be. Let’s just say the hubby drank a lot of beer while trying to get the room perfect.

Our furniture arrived shortly after we finished painting. We had originally ordered her a full sized dresser back in early December. Come February and still no dresser, I was told that it may not be available and shipped until October, October?!! I wasn’t sure I was hearing the person correctly. We ended up scratching that order and ordering a smaller dresser which I think ended up working out nicely. I’m just so relieved we got everything done and put together in time. With covid interfering with just about everything these days, shipping was a nightmare, almost everything was delayed. I can’t complain though, the room is complete and ready for baby girl to enjoy!
