Watermelon Poke (Vegan)

How to make a delicious vegan poke using watermelon. All the same flavors and texture minus the fish!

  • 1 Seedless Watermelon Cut Into Cubes

Tamari Marinade

  • 3 TBSP Tamari Sauce
  • 1 TBSP Sesame Oil
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TSP Ginger Powder
  • Black & White Sesame Seeds To Taste
  • 2 Scallions Chopped

Vegan Sriracha Mayo

  • Add Equal Parts Sriracha and Vegenaise

Optional Toppings

  • Sea Veggies To Taste


  • Start by cutting seedless watermelon into small squares.

  • Add watermelon squares to the Tamari marinade, allow to marinate in the fridge anywhere between 3 hours to overnight.

  • Using a slotted spoon, add watermelon poke to a sauce pan over low/medium heat and cook for about 10-15 minutes until watermelon is heated and softened.

  • Add watermelon back into the marinade and chill poke in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
  • Serve over white rice and sea veggies
